The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) is a non-executive, non-armed civilian Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Mission. EUMA will observe and report on the security situation along the Armenian side of the international border with Azerbaijan. It will contribute to human security in conflict-affected areas in Armenia and contribute to build confidence between Armenia and Azerbaijan populations.

The RFA is issued within the framework of the 5-year Armenia Civic Engagement (ACE) Program, implemented by a Consortium led by Project Harmony Armenia, and comprised of International Center for Human Development (ICHD), Armenian Center for Democratic Education – CIVITAS, and the National Center for Educational Technologies of Armenia (KTAK). The goal of the ACE Program is to enhance the quality and scope of Armenia’s school-based and extracurricular civic education as a means to foster youth participation in public affairs for helping the advancement of democratic principles and practices in Armenian society. The program is made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The Rapid Emergency Response (RER) actions are part of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Protection, Inclusion, and Empowerment Activity, implemented by Democracy International (DI) in Armenia. The five-year project aims at improving the lives of disadvantaged and marginalized populations through needed legal-regulatory framework changes, improved services, and intensified cooperation between the government and non-governmental actors to address the needs of vulnerable and marginalized groups. The project will emphasize Emergency Response activities and address the needs of the affected population through timely and effective support.

Civil Society in Action (CSA)/Counterpart International (Counterpart) in partnership with Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking a Request for Applications (RFA) from Armenian CSOs to implement activities focused on supporting democratic processes in Armenia such as but not limited to establishing dialogue with the Government of Armenia, promoting public participation in policy making, implementation and monitoring processes by actively engaging women, youth initiative groups, and other vulnerable groups, participating in policy reform processes by providing feedback and policy recommendations in relevant fields based on research and evidence-based data, participating in public hearings, proposing mechanisms that will ensure Government’s transparency, accountability and integrity, etc.
