PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Project Manager (PM) will have overall responsibility for coordination of all project activities and staff. S/he will be responsible for technical leadership and administrative oversight of the “Communities have Access to Social Services” (CLASS) Project and will serve as the principal institutional liaison to the donor, partners and local government entities. PM will ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all products and activities generated under the CLASS Project. The PM is expected to have strong leadership qualities and depth and breadth of technical and management expertise. S/he also provides strategic leadership and supervision of partners, consultants, service contractors while ensuring the security, feasibility, and sustainability of the project and contribution to Child wellbeing outcomes. The project will promote State institutionalization of the community-based social worker’s role and strengthening the capacity and cooperation of key social protection actors at local and regional levels in Armenia.

Grant Opportunity At Microsoft Armenia

Within the framework of the 'Boosting Technological Developments in Shirak marz' project Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia and Gyumri Information Technologies Center announce the grant opportunity for project partner IT companies. The goal of the grant opportunity is to assist IT companies, operating in Shirak marz with expansion of their activities and recruitment of new specialists, in particular junior developers.
Participation terms
The grant opportunity is available only to those IT companies which
have signed cooperation agreement with the project,
are registered since January 1, 2013 and operate in Shirak marz;
are committed to co-finance at least 10% of the total budget of expansion activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
With its Internship Program, Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Armenia opens its doors to graduate students making them part of its team and providing opportunities to gain valuable work experience, apply their knowledge in practice, while broadening the horizons, exploring different fields of work and developing professional network.
The Proposed Internship is with the BRIDGE for CSOs Programme that is implemented by AGBU with Eurasia Partnership Foundation and financed by the European Union. This three-year project was launched in December 2016. The project targets civil society organisations registered and operating in Armenia, Armenian universities, young professionals from Diaspora who would like to contribute their knowledge and expertise to strengthen the capacity of Armenian organisations.

Through this Programme about 20 young Armenians and Armenian citizens will gain the opportunity to work in and for ministries, government agencies, and other government institutions for 12 months (starting indicatively in November 2017), bringing new dynamics and energy into civil service and contributing to its modernisation.
